Red dot sights are changing the way shooters train and perform—offering faster target acquisition and improved accuracy under pressure. This class is designed for shooters looking to understand, use, and maximize their red dot-equipped pistol.

You’ll learn the pros and cons of red dot systems, how to acquire the dot efficiently, and how to apply effective shooting techniques through live-fire drills focused on both speed and precision.

Requirements:

Prerequisites: NRA Basic Pistol Course or equivalent

Required Equipment:

>Firearm with mounted red dot sight

>2 magazines

>~150 rounds of ammunition

>Eye protection

>Ear protection

Duration: 3 hours (optional to include if you want consistency)

Level: Beginner / Intermediate

What equipment do I need to attend?

The class description gives you the required equipment for each class. For many of our 100 Level classes, we give you everything you need to get started... free of charge!

For many of our 200 Level classes, we still give you a 22-caliber gun and gear, and you just need to purchase ammo... which can be bought right in the store if needed.

Do I need to take a prerequisite class to attend this class?

You do not need to take a prior classes to take any of our 100 Level classes. Many of our 200 and 300 Level classes do require a prerequisite class to ensure you have a solid foundation to learn additional skills.

Required prerequisites are listed in the class description and are there to ensure every student is on the same page in the intermediate and advanced classes.

Will I get a certificate or credit for this class?

We think it is important to recognize your time and dedication to training!

You will receive a Certificate of Completion that will show you are attending classes and building a record of your training! These certificates can also be submitted when you apply for your CCW/LTC applications.
